Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki is a book that most people are familiar with and would have come across one way or another. We will be sharing our personal take on this concept found within this book called the cashflow quadrant.
The Employee refers to working for people

While many perceive the employee arrangement as a stable career path, is it genuinely secure?
When individuals work for someone else, they willingly relinquish control of their income to the paying party.
The employer dictates the amount of money paid, working hours, promotion possibilities, and the potential for layoffs during tough times.
In such a position, many people tend to develop a low sense of ownership and accountability toward the business they work for. For them, this career path may fulfil the financial aspect, but it often lacks meaning and offers limited opportunities for skill mastery.
The Self-Employed simply means working for yourself, with no one to report to

A self-employed person serve as both your own boss and employee. During the COVID period, a surge in self-employed individuals, including roles such as Grab drivers and food delivery personnel, became evident.¹
Being in this career path demands significant discipline. While ownership is undoubtedly high, the business can face stagnation when it reaches its maximum capacity due to the limited number of working hours in a day for an individual.
The Business Owner involves working with people

You prefer a career path where you don't work for others, nor do you want people to work for you; instead, you'd rather have them working with you.
Collaborating fosters a greater sense of ownership and responsibility.
When both parties align and work toward their goals together, it imbues the work with meaning.
An Investor is where money works for you

In Team GGO, we invest not only our own funds in the market for growth and accumulation but also assist our clients in doing the same.
Recognising that a fulfilling career path is not solely about money, we invest our time and energy in people and relationships.
Through this, we share our knowledge, helping others become more financially literate. This enables us to build a community that fosters improved relationships with money for everyone involved.
